You work so hard some days, that you forget to count your blessings, breathe deep and be thankful. So for several mornings this week, when I woke, the first thing I did was grab the camera. (Okay I’m 60, and I HAD to pee first.) Sometimes when you capture that moment with the camera you also preserve it in your mind.
I studied art, and I know that this special light that occurs in October and November is what influenced the great painter-Rembrandt- chiaroscuro-that is what it is called-the study of light falling from a particular direction. The sun is lower in the sky, and that side lighting allows us to see things in a special and fleeting manner.
Come, remember this moment with me-forever-Out to Pasture.
